Boyce Avenue are a Florida-based band named after two streets in Sarasota where they grew up. They reimagined the classic The Lady in Red. It sounds simple, pointing to the piano arrangement and string patterns, but it works. Your attention is mostly directed to the singing, which has a raw edge to make you feel welcomed.
Boyce Avenue chose to make a new version of The Lady in Red in part due to its popularity and the connection it makes between people. Almost everyone has heard the song at least once in their lives.
