Nashville is home to New York-born Gillian Krystal. She shares her new single, Merry Go Round. It has soft guitar melodies that sparkle like rays of sunshine reflected in a pool of water. Additional texture gets generated by background strings. The vocals are mostly dreamy, but when the chorus comes around, they can also be quite theatrical.
With inspiration drawn from Krystal’s own journey with love, Merry Go Round explores the heartache of a relationship that feels endless. You almost seem motionless. But despite all this, you cannot lose the deep-seated appreciation you’ve towards them.
