After three years in the making and previewed by earworm singles such as Invisible Wall and Second Best, Jewelia releases her new alt-pop album Little Wins. Its lead single, Queen Of Make Believe embraces synths like roses. Magical riffs take you under their spell before you know it. And what happens then? Well, you’ll dance all night to the sound (no joke). The chorus doesn’t just sound catchy, it’s intelligently structured as well.
The lyrics refer back to the idea that happiness is an attitude. We believe Jewelia is dedicated to making you smile in some form or another. She think that even when things aren’t okay, it’s okay to pretend things are fine, because it could become true sooner or later.
