Grizzly Coast is the musical project of Toronto-based indie rocker Alannah Kavanagh. Sweet is however really relaxing, changing all shadows into light. Ambient and shimmering textures form the sound like Lego blocks. It all makes sense, and it’s very good on top of that.
Alannah wrote this song after having an unexpected dream about someone she knew as a teenager, which got her thinking about how you don’t have to be in touch with someone to remember them fondly. And she’s absolutely true about that. Sometimes, people from the past still seem so close.
