Singer-songwriter She Is Jules releases her new single, Brendan. She wrote it shortly after receiving a call from her ex. This is odd, since he was on the brisk of proposing to someone else. Ouch! You can feel the pain of heartbreak here.
Brendan‘s pop production channels Julia Michaels and Maisie Peters. Its sound is grounded in atmospheric electronics. There’s also accompaniment from a guitar, which completes the picture.
