Alternative R&B singer/songwriter Yaz Aiyla started writing songs in her bedroom in Devon, where she was raised by English and Turkish parents. Please Me‘s drums are well-matched to its soulful melodic framework. The chorus grooves along in a catchy way. The performance far surpasses all objectives.
