Multi-instrumentalist Arianne and singer-songwriter Margot form the band Charly Mae. They just released their new single, Meant to find out. It talks about relationships that slowly rob you of your identity. As you adapt to someone else, you become a different person, and realizing that doesn’t always happen immediately.
Meant to find out has nice atmospheric indie-pop instrumentation, mixing influences of The Japanese House, Neomi and Djo. The vocals are overall dreamy, making you float in thoughts as you listen to them.
Meant to find out is the sort of track that makes your playlist feel incomplete without it. Charly Mae has truly struck gold here. Check out the song below!
