With Golden, Llinos Emanuel [ll-e-noss] establishes herself as one of the brightest rising stars. What a way to start off a career. I’m particularly fond of the smooth guitar melody and the slick drum beat. The vocals feel angelic when layered, giving the production wings to venture into different areas. The chorus goes deep, saturated with nuances that make it special.
Golden was co-produced by Llinos Poffley and Barnabas Poffley and was recorded at the very house where it was written in order to realize its intimate feel. The lyrics open up Llinos’s world of possibility.
