Lily Meola grew up on the island of Maui, Hawaii. She releases her new single, Gasoline. It has quiet guitar melodies that narrate their own musical story. The singing shimmers on the back of the backdrop, gaining some harmony and control.
This song expresses a wish for a quick fix remedy when dealing with relationship problems. You wish it were all fine again, and you could go back to how things used to be. However, sometimes it just takes time.
