Singer-songwriter Mon Rae releases her new single, Like a Movie. It features typical indie pop production, which is driven by an infectious melody. The chorus sounds so superb that it stops time. The vocals are definitely noticeable, giving the lyrics the thrust they need.
Rae narrates well. Like a Movie discusses how to let go of someone without a good closeness. All that remains are memories, while everything else fades into obscurity. It’s as if you were part of a film, where the past lingers like scenes on a screen.
