Welsh 5-piece Kids In Glass Houses release Vulnerable, the second single from their upcoming fifth album, Pink Flamingo, out on October 25. It grapples with questions of self-worth, adequacy, and the fear of losing connection with the person you care about. The band recalls moments of mundane existence transformed by the presence of their love interests.
Vulnerable features up-tempo pop instrumentals with guitars leading the way. I appreciate how the chorus contrasts so well with the more introspective verses, taking on an energetic tone. The vocals are smooth in the way they communicate the intended message.
