LA&NY-based singer-songwriter Lulu Simon releases Pennies & Pins. She reflects on past mistakes, losses, and the emotional weight she carries from those experiences. However, she’s now ready to let go, because that’s what she has to do for herself.
Pennies & Pins builds up nicely, with pop influences blossoming at every turn. What do you think of the guitar here, for example? I believe it forms melody brilliantly. The vocals sound sincere, making things more impactful.
