Singer-songwriter Jess Meilman releases her new single, It is What It is. The song depicts the struggle of hiding inner pain behind a facade of sweetness and superficial happiness. Despite the emotional turmoil, Meilmann continues to believe in finding something meaningful and destined, regardless of what life throws at her.
There are carefree guitar licks here, and the drums march confidently forward. I also like the additional R&B textures that give the production just that extra something. From a vocal standpoint, Jess is capable of sitting on the throw.
You can only become inspired by a song like this. Jess has achieved it again; producing something that will survive the test of time. Check out It is What It is below!
