Kito Rayburn was raised in a musical household in Monterey, California, where his passion for music was nurtured. He shares his new single, Losing Ground, featuring Gin Fragonard, Alex Berjon & Adam. He contemplates on the difficulties of dealing with painful emotions and finding stability amid uncertainty and turmoil. The desire for things to improve is strong here.
Losing Ground has strong indie rock instrumentation, directed by guitars and drums, of course. I love the vocals, which are a little less rough than the general sound, so they go naturally with the vulnerable subject matter. The chorus is laced in quirky details.
