The new single from Mercury Prize-nominated singer-songwriter Gemma Hayes is called Another Love, featuring Paul Noonan. It has cinematic folk instrumentals that take their time to develop. The singing glimmers like a moon just about to set. There also some intricate key structures and fine strings later on in the piece.
Another Love follows two characters who are haunted by the ghost of someone they loved while finding comfort in their relationship. Both reveal the distaste they’ve for each other, which strangely brings them closer together.
