Rising star Brooke Taylor debuts her new single, Someday. It examines the conflicts that develop when a relationship ends, whether it’s romantic or platonic. The lyrics navigate the contemplative process of reminiscing about the happy memories that bring a smile to your face, juxtaposed with the realization of previously overlooked warning signs.
Someday has credible pop production. I’m fascinated by how the various melodic textures make you feel. The chorus leans on confidence, as the vocals steer the ship.
