Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Paulina releases her new single, a song I wrote. It elaborates on the pain of being left behind and the struggle to cope with the end of a relationship. Paulina wonders whether past promises were sincere and what the repercussions are of the breakup in general.
While there are up-tempo pop elements here, the sound also has moments of mellowness. I love the continuous contrast. The vocals feel strikingly emotional and heartfelt.
