A new single, rush, by Marco Luka, an innovative singer, songwriter and Weston Estate vocalist, stretches the frontiers of indie rock. I love the way it starts with acoustics, then explodes with explosive guitars and makes the sound burst from its shell. Structurally, things remain super functional. The vocals adapt easily, allowing the flow to be consistent.
The lyrics accomplish their purpose well. rush provides a narrative of intense emotions and desires that can push people to the brink of their limits, blurring the lines between what’s acceptable and what isn’t in the pursuit of love.
Luka cannot be compared to anyone else. Call his style original. Check out rush below!
