Cat Boland is a New York City-based artist. She releases her new single, Manic Pixie. Its instrumental builds up in a specific way, sparking around your mind like a balloon. The vocals have their own persona, as they sway with the wind. I’m fascinated by the last section’s drums.
This song represents the current wave of indie pop. It’s a great choice for listening to when you are doing chores around the house or doing some shopping. Cat keeps everything polished, so don’t expect anything but the best.
