25-year-old singer/composer Mercee released a new single, called Jackie Brown. It stresses that you should keep your head up and remain confident during tough days. The lyrics are empowering, promising a clean slate, similar to the one Mercee got.
Jackie Brown has a bit of an experimental feel, while also tackling contemporary pop. I love how the melody rolls over from the verse to the chorus. The vocals sound iconic, their sassiness suits the song.
