Through the metaphor of being a passenger princess, the lyrics indicate a desire to step back from driving and take a more passive role during a romance, possibly due to fear of the unknown or a need to surrender to the moment.
With a pop production that doesn’t go overboard, passenger princess shows off silvery vocals tiptoeing over lustrous-like musical formations. The chorus unravels well, charmingly explaining its purpose in each melodious note.
