Singer-songwriter Lily Kershaw releases her new single, Pain & More, along with the corresponding album. In this song, there’s an emotional component. The lyrics communicate the longing to experience happiness again and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Often, that’s all we need to be more ourselves.
Pain & More makes use of quiet indie-folk instrumentation. I love the guitar playing. The vocals are dreamy, reminiscent of Lana Del Rey. The chorus reaches the soul as expected.
