We all know Tamar Berk as a singer who shaped an entire universe around her songs. With Good Times for a Change she looks back on a period that she considers to be somewhat less desirable. She really felt out of balance. Sometimes she was happy. However, sometimes she was also sad, about which she now speaks openly. Even though it may be difficult, Tamar must feel relieved at the same time.

Good Impression kicks off the EP and tries to boost the 80s-90s wave pop-rock style and does this successfully. After that you get a lot of other tracks that are worth discussing. How about I Don’t Mind, which makes you long for the days when The Beatles ruled. But a song like Millennium Park is also great. It features technical string components that take you to a place of true musical inspiration. You Trigger Me goes in a completely different direction. It’s energetic and most of all very catchy. The lyrics acknowledge the PTSD and internal dialogue that’s constant when dealing with a toxic person.

Be My Friend sounds acoustic and therefore not too complexly divided into layers. It offers a delightfully simple idea of having tea with a friend in this “upside-down” world. Sorrow is Hunting is the last track we want to recommend. Tamar has an inner dialogue here about depression and how it works for and against her. Her findings are certainly interesting.

Yes, Tamar has once again proven herself. She has been active for a long time, and she shows us that we haven’t seen everything yet. That’s a gift, no question.

You know what you have to do. Check out Good Times for a Change now. We’ve attached it below!
