Stephanie Meincke addresses deep themes in debut single It’s Stupid. It lays bare an honest representation of a personal war against excessive thoughts and anxiety underlaid in darkness. Basically, the lyrics show some sort of fear from aging and losing yourself. However, they also help us to see how others can make us feel better, if only a little bit.
It’s Stupid has beautiful guitar melodies with shimmers of moonlight illuminating them. You’ll be surprised at how well the acoustics function. The vocals are pristine and feel holy all the way around.
Meincke manages to tackle complexity without sacrificing quality. Aside from that, she’s a brilliant artist. Check out It’s Stupid below!
