Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Mindy Gledhill releases her new project The Phone Booth Sessions, Vol. 1, featuring the focus track Charming. She pays homage to the 1940s sonically. We love the way things unfold here, it’s almost as if you’re watching a stage play unfold in front of your eyes. The vocals feel classical, but also fresh at the same time.
This track (and album) speaks tenderly to Younger Mindy through direct dialogue aimed at halting negative thought patterns. We’re happy with how it illuminates the theme of acceptance.
