I present Jangus Kangus, the coolest indie surf-rock band in LA. They’re led by Jasmine Sankaran, who’s a phenomenal musician, songwriter, and creative force behind the whole operation.
Their new single, Janakita Kirakita, sounds dynamic and full of motion. I love the gritty guitar tones. The drums also occupy a good amount of space, forming solid contours. During the chorus a more abstract approach is adopted, which I can certainly appreciate.
Jangus Kangus attaches high importance to creativity and makes this apparent in the music they compose. Janakita Kirakita is a tune to remember. Check it out below!
