Oldest Story of Love is about how love rebels against us sometimes. Next up is Luka. Emotional lyrics tell the tale of this girl.
Bittersweet Aftertaste features upbeat vibes, as well as strong singing. I appreciate how the chorus unifies everything. It’s time reverts to an acoustic sound. The lyrics show what it means to fall in love and then fall out of it.
In Guide Me Home, Shalisa is reaching out for reassurance in a time of uncertainty and emotional confusion. Lines like “Throw me a bone when you have the time” and “Could you pretend to guide me home” signal a need for direction, even if it’s just a temporary illusion. Mother pays tribute to Shalisa’s father. His perspective has been used in writing it.
