Alt-pop singer, songwriter and musician Diana Goldberg shares her powerful new single Je Te Déteste. It’s about dealing with heartbreak and how it affects your emotions. Inspired by a friend’s story about love, Goldberg flips the idea to communicate feelings of resentment towards an ex in multiple languages.
Je Te Déteste comes across as super modern. I like how the beat revolves around the soft melody. The vocal delivery in my opinion is excellent, not average. Because the chorus sounds a little more punchy than the verses, there’s a good contrast between them.
