Dutch singer, songwriter and producer SYNGA is a refreshing artist within the existing pop landscape. In Feelings, she looks back on a period that she experienced as chaotic. Many feelings passed through her, and she didn’t always know how to cope with them. Fortunately, by stepping back and paying attention to herself, things got better. The lyrics inspire you to do the same pursuing self-care) when life doesn’t go as planned.
Feelings has a layered production with plenty of space for the vocals to show their best side. I love how the electronics find each other during the chorus and become one. It’s futuristic in a way.
