Slow Burn is the second single from Webmoms’ 2024 EP For Us, By Us. It’s laced with dusty drum samples, warbly guitar swell and a driving, funked-up bassline. Essentially, it tackles nostalgia. You’ll also feel like you’re listening to ‘real’ music, as things are produced organically. The rap flows have a powerful way of placing words. The vocals stay warm and inviting.
Slow Burn tells the story of how life works for young adults in the 21st century. It’s sometimes accompanied by serious melancholy. Talking about this is important, so we’re glad Webmoms is doing it.
