Jungle by Daniella Binyamin is a single that she co-wrote and produced with Oskar Nyman last winter. They aimed to channel the feeling of being overwhelmed and trying to keep various aspects of everyday life under control. Many can likely relate to that experience at some point, whether due to external pressures or internal struggles.
Rather than dwelling in darkness, however, Jungle translates difficult emotions into an energetic dance track. The pulsating synth lines and beats give the song forward motion that prevents it from sinking into despair. That innate capacity to convert adversity into something positive through artful expression is indicative of Binyamin’s talent. Listeners are left energized rather than drained.
