Singer-songwriter Madeline Louie drops her newest track Vanity Land. But in reality, we’re aware that nobody’s life is perfect 24/7 – every single one of us has struggles that we deal with behind closed doors.
Throughout the track, layers are slowly and carefully added—some extra keys here, a few light beats there—but the arrangement stays spare, permitting Louie’s performance to thrive at the foreground. Her vocal melodies are ear-catching without being too distracting. By the time the song concludes, its quiet charm has worked its way into your thoughts.
