Primula are a four-piece band from Malmö and Stockholm, made up of Ella, Jim, Christoffer, and Olle. Their new single, Not That Clear, talks about being in love and knowing it won’t last, but choosing to hold on anyway.
I love the arrangement here, which is atypical in its unfolding. It’s actually the first time I’ve heard something like this. The way the textures are mixed just stands out. Very fragile in a way as well. Ella’s vocals sound striking all the way through.
Primula have an extraordinary level of creativity. Not That Clear sends out a clear message: they’re worth listening to. Check out the song below
