27-year-old Dutchie Jim Gardner releases Make It Make Sense, from his debut EP. It talks about finding the right person after years of feeling lost in a relationship that slowly wore the singer down. The lyrics look back on the pain and mistakes that shaped him, but instead of wishing those experiences away, he recognises that they helped lead him to someone who makes him feel loved and understood.
You Make It Make Sense has a polished pop sound, with the bass and drums keeping the rhythm steady and the guitars and keyboards adding melodic detail. The vocals are amazing, and they give the chorus a fuller, more uplifting feel.
It’s impossible not to be impressed by You Make It Make Sense. Check it out below!
