SAYANA is a Toronto-based singer whose music revolves around storytelling. Her latest single, Small Talk, features powerful lyrics. Its’s about running into an ex while walking down the street and finding it difficult to accept the fact that someone who used to matter so much to you is now almost a stranger.
The R&B/Pop-infused production leaves enough room for SAYANA’s unique voice. Intricate melodies are what keep the sound moving steadily. The chorus in particular catches my attention for its originality. SAYANA innovates and elevates modern era music to new heights.
