Singer-songwriter Adjenai (they/them) release Less & Less, from their debut album Did It Hurt? Was It Fun?. In the song, she reflects on the ways her upbringing continues to shape her. She also sings about feeling increasingly distant from the person she once imagined she would become, while slowly learning to embrace the person she is now.
Less and Less sounds amazing, relying heavily on a guitar-led arrangement that builds momentum at just the right moments. An emotional vocal accompaniment keeps the lyrics in focus.
Less and Less deserves a spot on your radar. Check it out below!
