Isabel Rumble’s new single Patience Peaceful Breathing Slow talks about making peace with the in-between space that follows a creative release, when the busyness subsides and you’re left alone with the parts of yourself you’ve been neglecting. Written during the period after her debut album entered the world in 2023, the song acted as permission to slow down, to tend, to simply be still for a moment.
The production is exactly what the title promises. Lush cello and bass open the track, intertwined with an ambient, slowly building piano line, while the orchestral arrangement carries throughout, underscored by a soft, melancholic tone beneath the dulcet folk sound Rumble has made her own. Her direct, dulcet vocals flow around everything with ease, accentuated by mystical harmonies that lend the whole thing an almost ceremonial quality.
Released ahead of an extensive UK, Ireland, and European tour following her second album Hold Everything Lightly, Patience Peaceful Breathing Slow comes at the perfect time. Check it out below!
