Independent artist Audrie Powell releases her new single, Leaves Fall. In it, she leads us on a metaphorical and literal journey that eventually results in the discovery of someone who personifies her conception of the ideal romantic partner—a modern-day “Romeo”. This person is portrayed as having chivalrous and supportive qualities, thereby challenging the prevalent notion that such virtues are antiquated or obsolete.
Leaves Fall features quiet guitar that flutters like moving feathers. The vocals sound great, incorporating common pop aspects while also possessing their own strength. During the chorus, you find yourself singing along.
