Shaken is the latest single from emerging American pop/rock duo Grandma’s Bill. It shows resignation to a challenging situation where the lead singer is grappling with fears and shortcomings. Basically, a clear direction or purpose has eluded her. Because of this, she struggles to find light once more.
Initially, this song had only a guitar to guide it. But the sound is made more punchy by a steady drumbeat later on. How things unfold and come to fruition is so exciting to me. The vocals are wonderful, keeping you attentive to the lyrics.
