Peter Pana is made up of Noemi Fricker and Jessica Gomes. They release her new single, Loss. It focusses on that bittersweet feeling of having to say goodbye to special times and memories. But it’s not just about feeling sad. The song encourages you to embrace that process of letting go, to see it as a chance for something fresh to come into your life. It’s got this emotional depth that really hits home, especially during the colder months when we tend to get more reflective. Loss is like a comforting friend putting an arm around you, helping you work through those feelings of grief and change in a really powerful way.
I love the production here. The synths have this moody, atmospheric vibe as they steadily make their journey, with intention and purpose. The vocals are just mesmerizing, like they’re straight out of a dreamworld. And wow, I love the silky experimental textures that linger in the musical moonlight, observing you.
