From a young age, KIANA knew exactly what she wanted – to follow in the footsteps of her favorite artists. This drive is still prominent in her music today. She’s determined to share her visions and aspirations through her music.
KIANA’s latest release Cheap Shots talks about moving on from your ex but still harboring some anger. This is entirely understandable and actually not a bad thing at all. I suppose it’s just the way things go. At least you know you’re human, since you feel something.
Cheap Shots relies on strong pop influences but is also intertwined with country elements, especially noticeable in the guitar melodies. The chorus evokes nostalgia, and it’s got much more dynamic energy than the verses, so that makes it perfect for letting loose and having fun.
