Dutch singer-songwriter MICHA expresses his deepest feelings in his latest single, Hopeful. It was written during a time when he was experiencing hardship. He lost two loved ones, which caused him a great deal of sorrow. MICHA literally had to adjust to the new reality and sort out his emotions.
Hopeful shows that the holiday season isn’t always delightful for everyone. Missing someone can be overwhelming and make you feel like you’re falling. It’s good that MICHA points this out. Very powerful, in fact.
Hopeful has beautiful guitar melodies that are soul-stirring. And MICHA’s raw voice? It hits every time, but more so this time since the instrumentation is less dynamic. You are able to hear every tiny detail. Stunning from beginning to end.
