Singer/songwriters Fiona Grey and Kate the Dreamer release A World Away (Beer Drunk Glory Days). Its roots lie in Fiona’s previous work, Beer Drunk Glory Days. Initially, the duo set out to record an acoustic rendition of that song, but their creative collaboration quickly evolved into something more expansive – a complete reimagining of the original composition from a fresh perspective.
A World Away (Beer Drunk Glory Days) examines how friendship can be a beautiful thing and how to find yourself again after leaving a relationship. Despite being two different topics, they’re complementary. The mastery with which Fiona and Kate use their words is astonishing.
