Singer-songwriter Juliana Hale recently released her new single, You + Me. It’s about being in a toxic relationship. Instead of focusing on it as depressing, Hale chooses to look at it from a different angle. She sees it as an opportunity to choose for yourself and step away. Very powerful, and inspiring, too
You + Me features a catchy pop beat that makes you feel what it’s like to tiptoe around eggshells with a person who changes at the drop of a hat. A violin is also heard, imparting a truly unique texture. It’s played by Hale’s brother, Oliver Levi.
It’s undeniable: You + Me slays. I love this song so much. Listen to it below.
