2024 was a busy year for Amanda Cy. She lived between Stockholm and London, working on many projects. But she doesn’t plan to rest this year. No, she wants to release a lot of new music. Miss U proves how creative Amanda really is.
This song has so much musical potential. I love the subtle intensity the melody brings during the verses. In the chorus, everything seems to open up a bit, as if a switch has been flipped. Well done! The vocals are pure, floating through the darkness seeking some compassion.
Miss U talks about the emotional struggle of missing someone after a breakup. Amanda seems to have a hard time with this. Despite efforts to forget and distractions like drinking, the absence of the person she misses is still strongly felt.
