Singer-songwriter Hope Melody resides in a dreamy world at the moment. Her new single, So High, almost makes you feel like you’re flying through the clouds. Accompanied only by sparse instrumentation, the sounds are soft as butter. The vocals have a poetic attitude and move with serenity.
It’s notable Hope Melody listened to Julia Michaels and Lizzy McAlpine while making this song, and I love how their influences overlap. The result is beautiful and deserves praise. Hope Melody understands what it takes to make good music. She literally shows it here.
