The One Eighties (Autumn Brand and Daniel Cook) release their new single, Backseat Devil. It’s about leaving something behind, but not completely letting it go. Possibly, this is because you feel guilty about for the way things turned out. It would have been nice if everything had been different and you felt more at ease.
I like how Backseat Devil is arranged. The song melts acoustic guitars with ’80s synths, orchestral strings, and space-country tones. It may seem impossible to have all of this in one piece of music, but The One Eighties prove otherwise. The vocals stay confident while showing off their vulnerability.
The One Eighthies have created something incredible once again. Check out Backseat Devil below!
