Singer-songwriter Jeanna has released her new single, not that into you. It’s about stepping away from someone who puts words in your mouth. Jeanna expresses her frustration with that, stating that she prefers to move forward alone. And she’s absolutely right. Why would you waste your precious time and energy on a person who’s just bothering you?
not that into you is musically supported by a modern pop production, which relies heavily on synths. The vocals sound pristine and feel weighty, and by that I mean they serve as a good overall focal point. The chorus makes you want to scream with enthusiasm.
