Toronto-based alt-rocker DYLYN (aka Gwendolyn Lewis) releases Change Me. It’s about finding yourself in a tough spot and reaching out for some higher help to transform and lift you up out of the darkness. As DYLYN puts it, “There are no atheists in foxholes” – when you’re really struggling, you’ll take whatever lifeline you can get to pull through.
Change Me has gritty guitars that provide a lot of texture to the music. The drums also keep the engine going with constant movement. I like the vocals because they never clash with the backdrop, but rather harmonize.
DYLYN always drops bangers. Change Me comes at the right time, as it’s January, and it doesn’t hurt to switch things up. Check it out below!
