Y is Nature is an indie and neo-psychedelia-inspired music project initiated by agent Hjalmar Littauer, who serves as both producer and songwriter. Their new single, The Fool, goes deep. It lets you settle into a world where your thoughts rule. The lyrics are about the unsettling interplay between the fear of losing someone you love and the desperate need for control.
Musically, The Fool sounds so beautiful. It has floating synth chords, and prominent rhythmic foundations that don’t play games, but push themselves forward ambitiously. The vocals have a layer of honesty that makes them difficult to overlook.
